Payment Deadlines

For SUMMER 2009 classes, the deadline for payment of tuition and fees depends on when you register for (or add) classes:

If you register …
On or before Friday, May 15, 2009

Payment of tuition and fees is due…
By 4:00pm on Friday, May 15, 2009

If you register...
On or after May 16, 2009

Payment of tuition and fees is due…
The same day you register

For FALL 2009 classes, the deadline for payment of tuition and fees depends on when you register for (or add) classes:

If you register …
On or before Friday, July 17, 2009

Payment of tuition and fees is due…
By 4:00pm on Friday, July 17, 2009

If you register (during the period) …
From July 18 through August 7, 2009

Payment of tuition and fees is due…
By 4:00pm on Friday, August 7, 2009

If you register …
On or after August 8, 2009

Payment of tuition and fees is due…
The same day you register

Failure to Meet the Payment Deadlines

Payment by the deadline reserves your seat in the classes. Kapiolani Community College (KCC) reserves the right to disenroll you from any KCC class(es) if you fail to pay tuition and fees in full by May 15, 2009 for summer; and July 17, 2009 and August 7, 2009 for fall.

You will NOT BE disenrolled from Summer 2009 KCC classes (registered for on or after May 16, 2009) and Fall 2009 KCC classes (registered for on or after August 8, 2009).  Therefore, if you do not officially drop a course that you do not wish to attend by the 100% refund deadline:

• You will be responsible for payment of the tuition and fees;
• A hold will be placed on your records, even if you do not go to class;
• You will receive a failing grade for the course.

To be reinstated, you must re-register and pay in full on the day you register. Re-registration will be based on courses available at that time, and applicable late fees will be assessed.
